POS Stock — Stock & Purchase Management

This is the defining upgrade from AutoCount POS Basic. The POS Stock module lets you manage purchase orders, goods received, stock balances, and stock adjustments directly within the POS system. Track what's coming in from suppliers and what's going out through sales — without needing a separate AutoCount Accounting license for inventory. Malaysian retail and F&B businesses get real-time stock visibility at the counter and in the back office.

Cashier Operation (POS Frontend)

Process sales transactions, accept payments, issue receipts, apply discounts, handle refunds, and manage daily cashier operations from a touch-friendly POS interface. Designed for speed — Malaysian retail cashiers and F&B operators can ring up sales quickly with barcode scanning or item search.

Back Office (POS Backend)

Manage items, pricing, promotions, payment methods, user access, suppliers, and sales reporting from the back office module. AutoCount POS Standard's backend gives business owners full control over system configuration, daily sales review, and cashier permissions.

POS UDF/Formula

Add custom data fields to POS transactions and item records. Capture additional information specific to your operation — customer references, special order notes, or any custom field your business requires. Formula support enables calculated fields for custom pricing logic or surcharges.

POS Basic Multi-UOM & Advanced Multi-UOM

Sell items in different units of measure from the POS counter. A grocery selling by piece and by kilogram, a café selling drinks by cup and by carton — AutoCount POS Standard handles unit conversion at the cashier level. Advanced Multi-UOM extends this to complex multi-level unit scenarios.

AutoCount POS Standard vs AutoCount POS Basic

The only difference is the POS Stock (Stock & Purchase) module. AutoCount POS Basic handles cashier operations and back office management but has no inventory tracking. AutoCount POS Standard adds stock management — purchase recording, goods received, stock balance tracking, and stock adjustments. If your business sells physical products and you need to know what's in stock, POS Standard is the minimum you need. If you're a pure service business with no inventory, POS Basic is sufficient.

What AutoCount POS Standard Does NOT Include

No Accounting Modules

AutoCount POS Standard does not include GL, AR, AP, or any accounting functionality. This is a POS and stock system only. If you need full accounting — financial reports, tax filing, balance sheet, profit & loss — purchase an AutoCount Accounting license separately and integrate with POS.
